Overview
This 75-minute case-based discussion led by Marilyn L. Sampilo, PhD, MPH delves into the evolving landscape of adolescent alcohol use. This session highlights key clinical considerations, reviews evidence-based interventions, and explores emerging research on medications for alcohol use disorder (MAUD) in youth populations. Participants gain practical insights through case based discussion to practice effective, developmentally appropriate care for adolescents with AUD.
This course is not eligible for credit.
The target audience for this intermediate-level activity includes: All healthcare professionals.
The AGCME Competencies include: Systems Based Practice, Patient Care, Medical Knowledge, and Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
